Hiya! If you’ve stumbled upon this page, you must be curious about me. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, I took a leap of faith and found myself studying advertising at the University of Alabama.

As scary as it was, it was my best decision yet. The world of advertising has changed my life. In February 2019, I was selected to participate in 22squared’s Mobilize competition. In 48 hours, my wonderful team, team Jonathan Van Ness, and I had created a campaign complete with creative and media and had pitched to our client, Georgia Equality.

Along with being a media planner for one of the 5 teams at Mobilize, I was selected to be a planner for the 2019 NSAC competition for the client Wienerschnitzel. In this position, I work with two other media planners to develop a plan for our campaign (top secret until the AAF district competition) using the 25 million dollar budget allotted to us for both the digital and media landscape.

I also serve as Vice President of Professional Development for the University of Alabama collegiate chapter of AAF. In this role, I work with alumni who are in the professional world to schedule them for our bi-weekly meetings each semester. I am also responsible for scheduling and planning our semesterly professional development trips. I have lead student groups to both the AAF Student Conference in San Jose as well as Nashville.

However, to know the real me it’s worth mentioning I was once a Skipper at the world-famous Jungle Cruise. Yes, that’s correct, and I can still say the 13-minute spiel from it. Ever need a quick stall during a presentation due to technical difficulties? I’m your gal.

Outside of school work, I channel my creativity through Disney Vacation Planning, trying out new recipes, decorating my bullet journal, working out, and my favorite grandma-ish activity, cross stitching.

Here’s also a fun fact for you: In high school, I was named top 6 individual in the State of Texas for Meats Evaluation and Technology. I can name up to 80 cuts of retail meat just by looking at them. Also Napoleon Dynamite tasting milk? I did that too.
