A Home For all

As the media planner for team Jonathan Van Ness at 22squared’s inaugural Mobilize competition for the Atlanta office, myself and team of 4 others worked together to put together this campaign and pitch within 48 hours. Our client, local non-profit Georgia Equality, tasked us with two objectives, drive traffic to their petition and get constituents to call their senator in order to pass Georgia’s first ever Non-Discrimination law, HB-19. Our campaign was built on the idea of home. That home isn’t where you grew up, it’s where you feel loved and accepted. We wanted to make Georgia home through HB-19. You might notice something very special about the timing here, there is no specific start date. This is due to the face that HB-19 has been sent through the second reading of the house on the competition start date February 8th, and we wanted to tailor the timing to when the bill moved to the committee decision.
